These Terms govern your use of the StoreYug platform. In short: you are responsible for your account security and the items you sell, while we provide the reliable technology to power your store.

1. Introduction and Agreement

Welcome to StoreYug. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StoreYug platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By registering for an account or using our Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

StoreYug is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides e-commerce technology to independent retailers ("Merchants"). We provide tools such as WhatsApp catalog integration, Order Management, Point of Sale (POS), and analytics.

Important: StoreYug is solely a technology provider. We are not a marketplace, nor are we the Merchant of Record for any transactions occurring between Merchants and their end-customers ("Buyers"). We do not manufacture, store, inspect, or ship any products sold through our platform.

3. Merchant Responsibilities and Liabilities

Product Legality: You are strictly prohibited from using StoreYug to sell illegal, counterfeit, or highly regulated goods without proper authorization.
Buyer Disputes: You are solely responsible for handling all customer service, returns, refunds, and disputes with your Buyers. StoreYug will not intervene in disputes between a Merchant and a Buyer.
Compliance: You must comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws regarding e-commerce, consumer rights, and data protection. You must provide your Buyers with your own store policies (e.g., Refund Policy, Shipping Policy).

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the StoreYug platform. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized access to our systems, distribution of malware, spamming, phishing, or engaging in any activity that disrupts or degrades our Service. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without a refund.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellations

StoreYug operates on a subscription model. Access to premium features (e.g., advanced analytics, inventory management, tax management) requires an active paid subscription.

Billing: Fees are billed in advance on a recurring schedule. You must maintain valid payment information on file.
Non-Refundable: All subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.
Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your storefront if your subscription expires or payment fails, or if you violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

StoreYug retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform's code, design, and branding. You retain all rights to the content, images, and product data you upload to your storefront. By uploading content, you grant StoreYug a non-exclusive license to host and display it in order to provide the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability and "As-Is" Warranty

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. In no event shall StoreYug, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StoreYug, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that such parties may incur as a result of or arising from your (or anyone using your account's) violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your violation of any rights of any other person or entity.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. You and StoreYug agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and specifically the State of Gujarat, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Ahmedabad, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
