2. Information We Collect from Merchants

To provide you with a functional storefront and bill you for our services, we collect:

• Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, and store details.
• Billing Data: Payment details and billing address (processed securely via our third-party payment gateways).
• Usage Data: Information about how you navigate our dashboard, to help us improve system performance.

3. How We Use Merchant Information

We use your data to operate the StoreYug platform, process your subscription payments, send you critical system alerts (like subscription expiries), and provide customer support. We will never sell your personal information to third-party data brokers.

4. End-Customer (Buyer) Data Processing

Because StoreYug provides e-commerce technology, our platform processes data belonging to the end-customers (Buyers) who shop at our Merchants' stores. This includes Buyer names, addresses, phone numbers, and order histories.

Role Clarification: Under data protection laws (such as GDPR), the Merchant is the "Data Controller" of the Buyer's data, and StoreYug acts purely as the "Data Processor."

• We only process Buyer data strictly to facilitate the Merchant's e-commerce operations (e.g., rendering the checkout page, saving the order).
• We do not market to, profile, or sell the data of your Buyers.
• Merchants are responsible for securing the legal consent of their Buyers to collect their data and for publishing their own Store Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, conducting our business, or serving our users (e.g., cloud hosting providers, payment processors like Stripe or PayPal, and email delivery services). These third parties have access to your data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We retain Merchant and Buyer data for as long as the Merchant's account is active. If a Merchant account is permanently deleted, associated Buyer data is safely anonymized or purged in accordance with our retention schedule.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction. We ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data during such transfers.

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions, such as the EU).
